Jean Jacques Machado has been an idol of mine since I started BJJ in 1995. When I heard of his online training program I immediately signed up hoping to get some form of contact with the man himself. What I got was far far more. The online training techniques in the TAP browser are amazing, almost overwhelming. For me as a coach the content of the site is worth it's weight in gold. But even better is the ability to ask questions and have them answered by Jean Jacques in person on video! Seriously you can't buy that sort of personal game development in a distance learning program.

I enjoy the online training since I am not able to attend weekly classes anywhere around where I live. In each clip, Jean Jacques shows the little details that make all the difference, breaking down each movement slowly while explaining his movements and why they are done this way, showing why he is such a great teacher. The online experience also provides information about other participants, where they're from and allows everyone to add to the overall class as well. In the three months of being enrolled in the program, I have learned more techniques, positions and fundamentals than I have at any other point of my training.

I don't even live on the same island as JJM and I can ask him questions and he really gives out a lot in his answers, that alone is priceless. The program works really well as a supplement to my normal training at my club. I can pick and choose what techniques fit well into my game from a number of different black belt's approaches now. On top of that, there are new techniques posted almost every day so theres always a surprise to look forward to. The guys behind the scenes that make it all possible really put a lot of heart into the program as well, its a grappling program made by grapplers for grapplers.

I've greatly enjoyed the online training program so far. There is an expanding wealth of knowledge and insight that is being shared with the global martial arts community, so I am glad to be involved with it. The constant improvement and development of the program is exciting; I look forward to what the future brings.

I am a member of JJM Online grappling training because it gives me instant video access to hundreds of techniques that I can review at anytime 24x7, and the opportunity to get answers to specific questions that I may not have time to ask in group class with my local instructor. This is an INCREDIBLE learning tool!!!

I joined JJM's site about 6 months ago, so I saw the site when it first started. They started out with a wealth of information and have added to it almost every day with a new technique. There is a lifetime worth of Jiu Jitsu information. Plus the way it is presented makes developing a game plan as simple as a few clicks. If they cut the amount of information by 10 percent, there'd still be more than enough raw information, details, and techniques demonstrated to keep you busy. I have demonstrated some techniques to my friends at my dojo that I learned from JJM's site. I remember one day in particular, where people refused to roll with me unless I promised not to use that technique! For me and a lot of other people, the best reason to join is the one on one access to one of the finest martial artist of our time: Jean Jacques Machado. He responds to individual questions on a daily basis. White belts thru black belts questions are asked and answered. Some members and I were chatting about flexibility in a thread, where I mentioned I had lost a lot of weight. I was blown away to see that JJM had taken the time to post a personal video message of congratulations for me and everyone to see! I think I've watched that clip about 100 times.

I like it because it works. This is the reason I know it works. The school I train at promotes using a stripe system. After 4 stripes ( or the fifth stripe) you move to the next belt level. By September 1st, I will have been training for 1 year and currently have 2 stripes, which I think is normal progress for a weekend warrior like myself. At this pace, I figured that in another year or so, I would test for my blue belt. (which I am totally cool with) But a few weeks ago, after using this site for only 2 weeks, my instructor put me on the list for the blue belt test in October!!! No guarantees, but the fact that I'm even considered for testing makes me feel really good. I don't think it's a coincidence...this site DEFINATELY has a major impact on my game. The ideas that Mr. Machado presents are incredible. I love that he personally answers my questions. The fact that the extensive library of techniques demonstrated on the site is only a small fraction of what is to come simply amazes me.

I've been a member now for close to four months and I'm honestly more and more impressed with how comprehensive this program is, and how much it grows every day. I'm also continually impressed with the quality of the members, as well as the friendly and fast customer service from Jay whenever it is needed.

What ultimately makes this program is the ability to interact with JJ, and the wealth of information you are provided with from day one. This combined with the TAP browser and you have a program that has set the standard (a very high bar) for anyone who ever tries to develop an online training system in the future.

As someone who holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with over 19 years of training in martial arts, I highly recommend this site to my students and anyone else who is looking for an awesome technical resource.
